As an Atlantic Furniture Shipping Clerk, you will work in a fast-paced environment on lots of different tasks, never a dull moment. This is a fully active position, always on the move and frequently lifting an average of 20-60lbs. This is a full time dayshift position, you’ll never have to work nights.

Steel-toed shoes are required, reimbursement available upon completion of orientation period.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accuracy of work and adherence to production and safety standards
  • Pick, Pack and Prepare items in the Warehouse for Shipment
  • Load product onto trailers and other vehicles
  • Unload product from containers
  • Stick selection labels to the appropriate cases (not in all cases)
  • Move pallet on an electric pallet jack or forklift
  • Ensure item pick accuracy and safety of product for Quality Control
  • Maintain a clean warehouse
  • Other Duties as Assigned


Qualifications:
  • GED, High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to read and comprehend numbers and sequences and to count items correctly
  • Team-oriented; willing to move from one area/assignment to another
  • Ability to operate pallet jack and other equipment and vehicles
  • Able to work above ground at varying heights
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures


Physical Requirements: You will be constantly standing, walking, riding, carrying, twisting, bending, balancing, seeing, hearing, and handling paperwork. You will frequently be lifting objects weighing from less than 20 lbs. to 60 lbs. And occasionally you will be pushing, sitting, touching, reaching, climbing, pulling, and gripping.
